Hunt: Showdown 1896 starts Bloodshed: Bileweavers community event

On Oct. 21, 2025, the developers of Hunt: Showdown 1896 announced that the community event Bloodshed: Bileweavers had started. According to the developers, they are asking players to work together by killing each Bileweaver they encounter.

A kill count is present on the game’s official website, with a max number of 29,629,629 kills needed for the event to progress to the next stage. Those interested in seeing it through simply have to go to the Bayou or the Mountains and slay the Bileweavers that are infesting the area.

Once kill goals are accomplished, players can redeem codes that will give them items. The developers mentioned that these codes will have a limited redemption time, so they are encouraging people to regularly check the website so they don’t miss out.

Here are the rewards waiting for people as they achieve milestones:

Stage 1: 4,000 Hunt Dollars, Blessed Fang Weak Vitality Shot and Vitality Shot, and a copy of each Tarot Card.
Stage 2: 6,000 Hunt Dollars, Patron’s Prayer: Bertier 1892, and a copy of each Tarot Card.
Stage 3: 8,000 Hunt Dollars, Empty Cairn: Mosin-Nagant Avtomat, a copy of each Tarot Card, and a custom Alienware Laptop Giveaway.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 was initially released in 2019 for the PC and Xbox One. A PlayStation 4 version followed the next year, with a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version being released in 2024.
