2XKO Early Access Release Date Revealed

2XKO‘s early access release date is on Oct. 7, 2025, debuting season 0 alongside the tenth champion to the character roster, presumed to be Teemo by battlepass leaks. Content unlocked during the 2XKO early access season 0 will carry over into the full release of the 2v2 fighting game. During the year 2026, Riot Games revealed five whole seasons to take place, with each season adding a new champion and additional content.

Riot will support the 2XKO competitive scene, sponsoring 22 community-run tournaments through the rest of 2025. This is part of Riot’s First Impact program, with each First Impact event receiving a pot bonus from Riot and an additional prize for winning as a duo.

The closed beta will continue all the way until the early access period begins on Oct. 7, 2025. To participate in the closed beta, the player must be invited by another user who has already been granted access. Each player who received a beta key can invite up to three of their friends. Unlike in early access, progress made during the closed beta will not progress onto the full official release.

As for the official 2XKO release date, no exact day has been revealed. The beta is currently only available on PC; the early access for 2XKO, as of writing, is only planned for PC. Riot Games plans on eventually releasing 2XKO on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
