Monster Hunter Outlanders revealed its gameplay in the special Tokyo Game Show 2025 trailer on Sept. 25, 2025.

Developed by TiMi, the studio behind games like Call of Duty: Mobile, Pokémon Unite, Delta Force, and Honor of Kings, and officially licensed by Capcom, the upcoming Monster Hunter Outlanders is being developed in a more traditional style of the Monster Hunter series than Monster Hunter Now.

Along with the gameplay reveal, the title’s developer also announced the opening of registration for the Monster Hunter Outlanders Closed Beta Test, with the application period set for Sept. 24, 2025 – Nov. 7, 2025, while the test period itself is planned for after mid-November 2025.

For those planning to participate in the test, the game’s developer has announced that devices must meet the following requirements: for iOS, an iPhone 12 or newer running iOS 17 or higher, while for Android, a minimum of 8 GB memory, Android 12.0 or above, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor or an equivalent or better are required, with 32-bit devices not being supported.

The mobile open-world survival game will task players with exploration of the vast open world, gathering of resources, and facility building.

The game’s developer has already revealed four adventurers on the game’s website, including Raya (Disruptor type) armed with Dual Blades, Madelyn (Support type) who hunts with a bow, Midori (Assault type) whose weapon is a long sword, and Pepe (Disruptor type) armed with a heavy bowgun.

Besides adventurers, the game’s developer also revealed three Buddies, including Palico (Assault), Trillan (Support), and Rutaco (Disruptor), along with the Rathalos monster and its Radiant version.

The title will be released on both Android and iOS platforms, with the exact launch date yet to be announced.
