N-Dream investor KPIT becomes majority stakeholder

KPIT Technologies Limited has increased its stake in Swiss startup N-Dream to 88.9%. With this EUR 16.35 million acquisition deal, KPIT aims to enhance automotive OEMs’ offerings by integrating N-Dream’s platform Airconsole with its software services.

N-Dream developed a Cloud OTA (over-the-air) technology to bring mobile gaming to living room TVs and automotive entertainment systems. By 2023, the company had over 180 games across various genres and more than 16 million players worldwide on AirConsole, its online video game console—connected to 300 million TVs, set-top boxes, and some PC/Mac devices through its web-based portal.

This growing popularity led to continued revenue growth, positioning the company to further expand its offerings to the automotive industry with games such as UNO Car Party, Tetris, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for in-car play. Automotive leaders such as BMW / Mini, Audi, VW and Porsche currently offer in-car gaming experiences powered by AirConsole. The company also raised more than CHF 10M from investors.

KPIT Technologies, which first invested in N-Dream in 2023 and 2024 for a minority stake of 13% stake in each round, further expanded its stake in the startup during 2025. In August this year, the company increased its stake to 51% for EUR 6.5 million. In a recent deal, KPIT Technologies, through its subsidiary KPIT Technologies (UK) Limited, has increased its stake by 62.9% in N-Dream at a consideration of EUR 16.35 million, making it a majority shareholder with a total of 88.9% Equity. 

This strategic move aligns with KPIT’s goal to enhance automotive OEMs’ offerings by integrating N-Dream’s platform with KPIT’s software services, aiming to create new monetizable experiences for automotive clients. The strategic investment in N-Dream is part of KPIT’s roadmap to enable Automotive OEMs enhance the driver & passenger experience in the Cockpit of the Future. KPIT will offer complementary software integration & validation services to N-Dream’s Automotive clients. Both parties will collaborate towards offering value-added data products for Automotive OEMs, thereby enabling them to create additional monetizable experiences & features.

Following the acquisition, N-Dream will become a subsidiary of KPIT and retain all its 20 employees with plans to double the number in the next year. The company will continue to be led by Anthony Cliquot as CEO of N-Dream.
